Ocean village do tea in cabins but you can have tea . 24/7 or you can have tea brought to your cabin for a charge.
P & O have kettles in all cabins with tea, coffee, biscuits etc. free of charge.
On all the Fred. Olsen ships except the Black Prince there are tea/coffee making facilities in the cabins.
Were you thinking about taking your own kettle? No need to as you can see from the replies above. Irons on the other hand are a different matter! They can be very useful, but many cruise lines BAN them! They are quite rightly worried about them causing fires in cabins, but also would like you to pay for THEIR facilities. Choose to cruise P&O and both Tea/Coffee making facilities AND laundry facilities are available to passenger FREE! Happy cruising.
Just returned from ocean village tea , coffee and sugar , milk and kettle daily re-stocked.
Many american ships do not allow kettles. they say it is for safety reasons though some will allow those kettles with a saftey cut out. Check with your cruise line. I always take a kettle on Princess and keep fresh milk (non UHT) in the fridge. This is simply because there is no boiling water available. Again for safety reasons. Yes, I love my tea !!
Independence of the Seas has kettles in each stateroom.
No Royal Carib, celebrity or princess ship we have been on has kettles.
If you are travelling on P & O a kettle will be supplied and a supply of tea and coffee and biscuits and milk and sugar for you to use when you wish.
