Can't comment on the sofa bed but all swimming pools are filled with seawater on all cruise ships only the spa pools are not hope this help.
Outside cabins have the extra beds that come out of the ceiling. Very clever. so they look like bunk beds. our 16 year old daughter says they are very good. the beds are brought down in the evening by the Steward, while you are eating...
and put up completely out of sight, in the morning. Swimming pools are always sea water, but usually quite warm.
If the beds are like the balcony cabins, you will sleep for England. We sailed on Navigator last year to the Baltics. The bed was fantastic, the food and room service is second to none, the staff are very friendly,as for gratuities,we opted out of paying beforehand,on the night before we were left envelopes in our cabin for cleaners waitresses etc, this way we can give appropiate tips, enjoy it.
Hi, we have been on the navigator twice and the pools were chlorine treated water. the sofa beds are quitebig and ok but would only recommend for children, not large adult.
I always have to sleep on the sofa beds and we were on the navigator last year and i have no problem with them, with the swimming pools it can never be the same sometimes sea water or desalienated sea water .
