Too formal - NCL is freestyle ie. smartcasual/resort wear.

NCL does have an optional formal night - on the 3 NCL cruises I have been on I would estimate 75% of passengers were dressed up in long dress/black tie - that is the best thing about Freestyle - you do what you want. We ate in the Italian and the French restaurants on formal night and were not out ouf place dressed formally.
