Hi, no doubt in due course you will be advised of your flight time, however, if you have plenty of time, and RCI, will disembark you at the earliest, there is a left luggage store at Piazzale Roma, which is not too far away from the port, and from there you can either explore Venice on foot or get a vaporetto into the centre, there is also a good bus service from P Roma to Marco Polo airport, the ticket office is very near to the left luggage store, so you can make your own transfer, Venice airport is not the best place to hang around for hours, say hello to Splendour for me, we did this last year have a great time.

The aim is to clear all passengers of the ship by 9/9.30 a.m. You could book a tour which will drop you off at the airport but that will depend on the time of your flight home. When we did this 2/3 years ago the flight back was around 12 noon so just await at the airport I am afraid is the most likely option.
