Beware the Norwegian Jewel, they charge for the childrens clubs at certain times and it can become very expensive, you are also asked to book your children in the day before! Not sure about you, but my children dont think that far ahead. When I cruised on the ship people were not willing to pay (sea days) so there were very large amounts of children running around. I have travelled with Princess but not on the Grand and they have excellent childrens facilities that are complimentary. Hope this helps, kind regard.

Don't know the Norwegian Line, but my daughter and I find the Grand Princess definitive for every need. We adore this ship and are serial cruisers who would sail with her every time, if only she went to different locations. I would say to you 'Grand Princess and no doubts - you will not be disappointed - in fact, it will surpass your wildest dreams'. Enjoy! Jean and Maddy Holmes.

Although I am unable to make a comment on the children's clubs, we did a Baltic cruise on Grand Princess and would thoroughly recommend it. Food was excellent, waiters and all staff were friendly, interesting ports of call and we were blessed with excellent weather. Jane, Northampton.

We have cruised with our children many times on Princess and have always been very impressed with their children's clubs. There are most definitely no charges whatever imposed. There will be plenty of other children on board in August and your children should have a really good time.
