Find Your Cruise
Straightforward; Azamara Quest and Azamara Journey. The rest either have formal nights or you are liable to suffer jeans and tee shirts. If you mean exactly what you say that is the only answer.....regards ...Nei.
Thanks very much. I'l look it up. I do mean what I say. I don't want quizzes in the lounge, bare chests, satin shorts etc. On the other hand I don't want formal dining either. The ships I have enjoyed most were Sea Cloud (4 masted barque) and Swan Hellenic's Minerva which I think they have just got back and will be cruising in the spring of next year.
Azamara or Windstar would be my suggestions. Alternatively go with the Celebrity and just eat in their casual restaurant in the evenings that are designated as 'formal'.
The Asamara ships are the old "R" ships, a lovely size and shape, Minerva 2 was one of these too although now she is Royal Princess, I think, so if you liked the style of Minerva I'm sure that they will suit you and whilst I agree that dining informally on Celebrity's ships could be the answer the chances of dining informally with someone whose dress sense would appear to be differently based to yours would be, by experience, quite high. It is the old Minerva tht's coming back but they do have formal nights on her and, from memory, I don't think you can escape them.....My other suggestion would be Silversea where on formal nights you can dine en-suite so to speak....regards Nei.
