Ida and Neil Down - Answered a Question by riley (06 Jan 08 18:52)

Normal flight time from Heathrow to Miami is nine and a half hours, eight hours return (because of the jet streams). The time difference is 5 hours except that Florida has a way of not changing to and from "Daylight Saving Time" the same time as the rest of the world so for part of the year they are out of synchronicity with us, or at least that happened last year after a State dictate....hope that helps....Nei.

Approx 9 3/4 hrs and they are 5 hrs behind us. So if you catch the 0940 plane from LHR you land at 1425, and on the return you take off at 1705 and land at 0620 the following morning.
