We were on this ship last year and they accepted sterling on board. Happy cruising.

Ive been on couple of cruises (although not Ocean Village). you can deposit any amount of sterling at the ships (reception desk), which will be credited to your on board account. you dont use cash, only the card which they issue you with, which is like a credit card, and each transaction you make onboard (whether it is drinks - if you are not fully inclusive) or from the onboard shops is deducted from your original deposit. hope you enjoy your cruise. yl.
