We have been on oceana 2 years ago and are going to norway in two weeks on oceana - it is a lovely ship and we never once felt closed in. It is a bigger ship than the other two and you will enjoy it most definitel.

I was on the Oceana when she was the Ocean Princess and there is absolutely no foundation for what you have been told. there is plenty of open space up top and there is a wrap round promenade deck. However the standard cabins are a bit on the small side.

If you like Oriana and Aurora - as we do- you will be disappointed with Oceana. Not so much on the deck space but the limited public room sitting. When we travelled we always had difficulty finding a table before/after dinner. Cabins or more specifically bathrooms are dreadful. Showers of course but hardly enough room to swing a cat and you have to dry yourself in the cabin. My wife hated the cabin facilities. Stick to the other two and give a wide berth to Oceana. It was OK for Americans but not us Brit.

The Oceana is a very spacious ship;in fact I found it more open than other ships.Inside, there is a lovely central atrium from which you can look up to other decks and see the glass fronted lifts.Outside, there are three e pools towards the top of the ship and a promenade deck lower down.

We have been on the Oceana twice, its a fantastic ship, plenty of open deck space and you never feel overcrowded whilst onboard. Stev.

I have been on oceana 3times as well as having travelled on oriana once and aurora 4 times, although the aurora is my favorite ship, i quite like oceana,it isnt really closed in, theres plenty of open decks but it doesnt have the wedding cake back like the other 2 ships, you can go to the very front of the ship and this is a great place to sunbathe as most people stay by the pools, the oceana is alot more contemporary and everything comes off the atrium, which is outstanding, the only thing I miss when on this ship is the crows nest, as on the oceana this is the selfservice restuarant.Im sure you will enjoy this ship as well as the others.

I have sailed on the Oceana and i did not find it closed in at all. I have also sailed on Sea Princess which was fitted out the same as Oceana. This ship is larger than Oriana. We had a great time and the crew were excellent so have a good trip.

Hi - We have cruised 3 times on the Oceana and prefer it to all the others - I can honestley say that I have never felt closed in. I like the ship because it seems younger at heart and will e cruising again on it next year for a 3 week back to back cruise. Try it I am sure you will love it. Renee - Pinner Middlesex.
