The QE2 is 70,327 tons with around 1,015 crew and about max 1,906 passengers and it has 950 cabins. It is about the normally size of ship but the new ones are much larger and take more passengers as a result. The QE2 was primarily meant to be a transatlantic liner but turned to cruising as well in 1969.
