I have worked on over 25 ships over 6 cruise lines and im almost 100% sure you will find tea making facilities in the majority of cabins irrelevant of the cabin. Otherwise visit the pursers desk and they will find a kettle for you.

Don't think they'd let you loose in your cabin with something that has the ability to scald you. Room service excellent so you wouldn't have to wait long for your cuppa.

We have just returned from a cruise on QE2 and we stayed on C2 three deck. There are no tea making facilities in your stateroom, but just ring room service and your cabin steward will deliver within five minutes. We used this facility every morning to get a cuppa before going to breakfast.
