No. all purchases must be charged to your cabin account. the only place you need cash is in the casino.

I doubt it unfortunately. All the cruiselines as far as I'm aware have a 'no need to carry cash' policy - they open an account for you at the beginning of your cruise and they give you a card which acts as your id card, cabin key & payment card. If you're on a budget just be aware that when you buy a drink just bear in mind there's a service charge if you buy from the bar. Prices aboard Cunard aren't that bad actually.

No, neally all cruise companies have onboard accounts(key cards). Most ships would let you pay money off your account at the end of everyday so you can see what you have spent each day. Also remember that you can get a account statement at anytime (even from the bar area).

The cruise lines want you to spend and not think that your wallet is running dry but then on the other hand it is safer than carrying cash. Check your bill at the end of each day and make use of the free cocktail partie.

Hi Re your question about drinks and end of cruise bill, Have travelled QE2 many times and for Soft drinks you can buy a daily package, $3 a day and that pays of all soft drinks, but the real stuff, sorry on the ships ID card and pay at end of cruise, but you can pay your account mid cruise or even request a copy whenever you wish, Hope been helpful and enjoy the QE2 Richar.

Why the hell would you want to do that?? If you can't afford to drink then go all inclusive to some scrotty little self catering hole in Torremelinos!!

If you are worried about the bill totting up why dont you go down to the Pursers Desk every day or so and pay a little of your ob board account off - You can pay cash anytime at the Pursers Des.
