Find Your Cruise
Hi,lovely idea!if you go to www.princess.com and search gifts there are flowers drinks packages and gifts from the ships shop that you can order. Also if you go to cruise personalizer on the same web site and put in your name and booking reference you can add in requests but be careful your friend will be able to view this also and spoil the surprise. What a lovely thoughtful friend you are.have a nice time.
Have a quiet word with your waiter or the Maitre D'. On most ships they are usually willing to organise a surprise or 2 at dinner for special celebrations. On ships that I have been on in the past, they've organised brithday cakes complete with candles for the whole table, arranged sernades 9sometimes the waiters themselves with more enthusiasm than musical talent and sometimes som eo the musicians from one of the bands) Why not phone or email princess cruises before you depart and see what sort of thing they can offer or help you organise? Hope you both have a fantastic time. be warned though, most people catch the cruising bug on their first trip and keep wanting to go back agaian and again.
I have noticed on Royal Caribbean website you can order different things for birthdays etc. Check your cruise website of ideas.
If you advise the Maitre D in the resteraunt, they will arrange for a cake to be delivered to the table and the wait staff will sing happy birthday (this is generally free of charge). Should you want to do something a little quieter, take a look at the following page:-
Speak to your M'D, They can arrange cake, waiters singing happy birthday etc, you can purchase flower arrangement on board, you may also wish to suprise her with a visit to the spa, enjoy the holida.
If you look on the net for the island you wight be visiting on or about 23rd Feb and then check for helicoptor trips. They are so special and so many of the Caribbean Islands have them....now that's different and so is a limo trip to a nice restaurant or beach....once more you can find it on the net...Is that what floats your boat?
