Have you viewed the Queen Victoria's review section on this site? I would say apart from a few negative remarks by disgruntled smokers and one 18 year old tantrum, the reviews are very positive. I'm thoroughly looking forward to my two cruises on her.

The Maiden Word Cruise sector from LA to Sydney onboard was terrific. A nice modern ,friendly and comfortable ship and all the better from being Cunard . She rode the ocean swells remarkably well. The full World Cruisers were very enthusiastic and these included regulars from QE2. Dining was superb all round and the resident entertainers astounding - complementing a fine young dedicated crew eager to please. This was our lasting impression until the next opportunity to be onboard.

cunane - Answered a Question by Vanstone (12 May 08 11:45)

Have just completed my second trip on Queen Victoria first time in Jan (Q.Grill) and this one in May (Britannia Rest) .. the ship is getting over it's teething problems. the ship is five star as is usual with Cunard.. the lack of draw will be recitfied at the next refit..my only complaint ! the britannia restaurant needs to get it's act together ..there is an inconsistency in the delivery of the product as compared to Britannia restaurant on QM2 example.. HP sauce bot put on breakfast table for guest to tackle with, Tom sauce offered with fish and chips NO tatare sauce readily available, A tea bag (english beakfast tea) and cup of hot water offered in the evening when I requested tea rather than coffee, the lack of the use of guest names.. enough of all this American service style ! come on Cunard I am one of your most loyal guests, single and paying the price.!. treat me and others as a valued customer.. PS the service recieved in the stateroom and all public rooms was excellent the shows in the evenings were the best ! I've seen.
