Find Your Cruise
If you sail out of New York at about 6pm by 6pm the next day you will be about level with Jacksonville N. Carolina and will have already noticed the change to warm weather. By 7am. the next morning you will be level with Jacksonville, Florida and from then on the weather will just keep getting hotter and you should, all things being equal, be sunbathing on the deck that day. Does that please you?….I have a cruise booked on Explorer later this year but haven't been on her yet, Nei.
This has been asked many times before - usually warmer by lunch on Day 1 and fine to swim and sunbathe by day 2. But with global warming who knows..
Hi Neil - we are taking our 2nd cruise on Explorer in March next year - the 12nighter. Been on her once before over to Bermuda - OK - yes she is large but I did quite like her - and the art work is fantastic.
Thanks Albert, I am waiting to see whether it is my sort of ship as I do like the smaller ships, but I am hoping my will be swayed ...(apologies to the Worthingtons for using their space)....Neil.
We've just returned from Florida and and mini cruise round the Bahamas (which is higher than the Caribbean) and the weather was fantastic, in fact one day it was too hot to sunbathe!
I have also cruised early April around the Caribbean and again the weather was brill.
You should have nice weather i would guess.
Sailed ou of New York on Explorer last November,it was cold, bitter on deck. But guess what by the next day we were on deck sunbathing. Unfortunately, it rained for a couple of days and the Islands were a washout, but that didn't spoil our fun, splashing through the puddles in our flip-flops, what a sight. Coming back into New York we managed to continue sunbathing until 5pm the night before we docked. Enjoy, make the most of it nomatter what the weather is my advice!!
